2023 in Review
Happy New Year! 2023 was a very challenging year for this website, and nothing I wanted to accomplish got done. This is because for several months, the site was hijacked by hackers which turned it into a Russian gambling site. I spent countless hours and ridiculous amounts of money to get it back online. Why on earth it seemed a lucrative idea to hijack a Clark Gable website and have it redirected to Russian gambling I will never know. It was such a frustrating process I came very close to just throwing in the towel, quite frankly. The good news is is that everything is back and in order with…

New Look
As you can see, the site has undergone a major renovation. It was time for an update and also I had to change webhosts and a bunch of other nonsense. It was a frustrating two week period but now that I’m on the other side I’d say it was worth it. The new design is very user-friendly and is much easier to read and navigate on mobile devices. And if you add it as a shortcut on your smartphone you get a cute little Clark Gable icon on your screen and who wouldn’t want that? Some other notes on the update: Radio shows will be coming back soon; I have…

New Around Here
As you have noticed by now, the site has a whole new look and that would not have been possible without Kendra of vivandlarry.com. A huge thank you to her and her brilliantness! I still have some updating to do–for instance, the radio shows don’t all work yet–but all will be done soon. Cleaning off my desk this week… New reviews posted on the pages for Hell Divers, Polly of the Circus, Forsaking All Others, Call of the Wild, China Seas, San Francisco, Cain and Mabel and Test Pilot. When I found the review for Test Pilot (a very favorable one), next to it was a review for Carole Lombard’s…
