Clark Gable is telling intimates he is “fed up” with his recent roles. And rightly. Those in the know say he is slipping just the tiniest bit at the box office. Well, you can’t always be first.

I can’t imagine how frustrating it would have been to be assigned roles to play even if you had no desire to play those roles. I guess it was offset with the security the studio gave the actors.
