    It was not ten years between the production of Homecoming, released in 1948 and 1953. Normal subtraction makes it five, and little inaccuracies damage the larger picture.

    Lana Turner was the actress….that was kicked by,Carole…..remember they said he finished the movie with Lana after the funeral..?…….also…I never knew he saw her body after the plane crash…..Eddie Mannix….?…..wasn’t that superman mistress husband?….

    Wife #4 was “Sylvia, Lady Ashley,” not “Lady Sylvia Ashley.” She assumed her title upon her marriage, she wasn’t an aristocrat’s daughter.

    I’d read that all they ever found was a tiny piece of one of Carole’s dress clips. They were dress clips, not ear clips. Diamonds and rubies, and absolutely gorgeous.
